2008
- The Band competed for the
first time in Grade 3A
- The
Cullen Pipe Band traveled to Birmingham to compete
at the British Championship on Saturday, June 28th.
The band was delighted with a fourth
place result
- The Band were placed 7th at the
All Ireland Pipe Band Contest, held in Ennis Co. Clare
- The Band were placed 8th at the
European Pipe Band Contest, held in Lisburn.
- A special word of praise goes out
to the Drum Core for being placed 6th. at the World
Championships in August.
- Conor Sinclair who won the
Scottish Championships U13 MSR in September
- Caitlin Houlihan won the
"B" Piobaireachd at the All Ireland Solos
- Anthony O'Sullivan who placed 3rd
in the U14 Piping
- Sean Molony Won the Junior
Drumming at the Cullybackey Solos
- The Band were very proud to play
the Cullen Junior A football team through the village on the
occasion of them winning the Dullahow football Championships!
- The band also played the Minister
for Education and native of Cullen Mr.
Batt O´Keeffe through the village
