Due to the high musical standard, Cullen Pipe Band have been invited to participate in international festivals, in Italy, France, Spain & the prestigious St.Patrick´s day Parade in New York City. The Band has also competed at the World Pipe Band Championships in Glasgow.

Lorient & Menton / France.

In 1997 the Band traveled to the Interceltique festival Lorient, France.

Founded in Lorient in 1971, the Interceltic Festival is the grand annual gathering of Celtic nations active in the creative arts. Each year, in early August, 4500 artists come together in the Breton harbour town of Lorient. They come mainly  from Scotland, Ireland, Wales, the Isle of Man, Cornwall, Asturia, Galicia and Brittany.

In December 2002 the band traveled to Menton (Southern France) to perform in the Menton Christmas Festival.

In 1995 at the invitation of Narraghmore Pipe Band Kildare, some members of the band partook in the Europead Festival in Valencia in Spain

In the same year a few members also traveled to La Coruña in northen spain with Ringaskiddy Pipe Band. The highlight of this trip was playing in a parade in the Depertovo La Coruña football stadium before la Coruña played against  Real Madrid

In 1996 the band visited Monte Sant'Angelo in southern Italy and performed there over the Christmas period giving many performances in the town along with a concert in Foggia for over 1000 people

The Band played at the New York St. Patrick's Day Parade for the first time in its history. Many thanks to the County Cork Association and also to our own Colette O' Connor for making us feel so welcome and for making the trip and stay a sucess.

Glasgow/ Scotland

The Band competed in 1998,2002,2006 & 2007 at the world pipe band contest in Glasgow.
